One Jaguar XJ6 Series I or II or III, 1969-1985. We can supply
a car complete, semi-stripped or completely parted-out. Alternatively,
the customer can supply his own donor car.
A Series II or Series III is preferable. The required donor parts
are as follows but we can supply customers with any missing parts
should their donor car be incomplete. All the models can be used
and all engines/gearboxes/axles can be interchanged during the
building process.

The Suffolk SS100 is constructed by using a single Jaguar XJ6
Saloon 1969-1985 to provide all the major mechanical donor components.
A recent MOT failure (usually because of rusty bodywork) is a perfect
choice. The donor car would ideally have a 4 speed manual or 5
speed gearbox. However, all Jaguar XJ6 gearboxes are readily interchangeable
and Suffolk always have manual donor gearboxes in stock. Suffolk
can supply:-
- Donor Cars as found - ready for stripping out
- Donor Packs – containing the essential components ready
for reconditioning
- Donor Component Sets - fully restored, reconditioned and ready
to fit (Big Boys Meccano)
Jaguar XJ6 donor cars provide all the major mechanical components
and allows the customer a wide range of options within the chosen
specification of their finished Suffolk SS100. Therefore whilst
a donor car, as found or supplied, might be a white 4 door automatic
saloon with a 4.2 litre engine, the completed Suffolk SS100 could
be a red 2 door manual sports with a 3.4 litre engine. All donor
car products are supplied with Jaguar XJ6 V5C registration documents. |
